How the converter makes your video

    1. 1. Text is pulled from every slide. Titles, body text, and speaker notes are read from your PPTX. For a PDF, the text on each page is used.
    2. 2. A spoken script is written per slide. Bullet fragments become full sentences, so the narration sounds like a presenter.
    3. 3. Each script is narrated. The free converter uses Matthew, a Standard English voice.
    4. 4. Slides and audio become one MP4. Every slide is shown for as long as its narration runs.

    PowerPoint to video FAQ

Is this PowerPoint to video converter free?
Yes. You can make 3 videos a day, each up to 20 slides, without creating an account. A free account includes 20 credits per month for larger decks, other voices, and other languages.
Does it use my speaker notes?
Yes. The converter reads your slide text and speaker notes, then writes a spoken script for each slide so the narration sounds like someone presenting rather than reading bullets.
Can I convert a PDF to video?
Yes. Upload a PDF of your slides up to 25 MB. Each page becomes one slide in the video.
    How is each slide timed?
Each slide stays on screen for the length of its narration, with a short pause before and after, so you don't set any timings yourself.
Can I edit the script or pick another voice?
Not in the free converter, which uses Matthew and the generated script. With a free account you can edit every slide's script, choose from all voice tiers, and narrate in 61 language options.
