    2. Service description

SlideNarrator is an AI-powered service that helps convert presentations into narrated audio, scripts, and video. Features may include file processing, AI script generation, text-to-speech voices, optional custom voice cloning, workspace collaboration, and downloadable outputs, subject to your plan and credits.

    3. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and workspaces you control.

    You may not:

    • Upload content you do not have rights to use
    • Upload malware or attempt to compromise the Service
    • Use the Service to generate harmful, unlawful, or infringing content
    • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse rate limits or security controls
    • Share credentials with unauthorized users
    • Upload protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data unless we have a written agreement covering that use

Voice cloning: Upload only your own voice, or voices for which you have explicit permission. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws on consent, impersonation, and deepfakes. Misuse is prohibited and may result in termination.

    4. Intellectual property

    • Your content: You retain ownership of materials you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.
    • Voice: You retain rights to your voice samples. We use them only to create and run your custom voice features for your account.
    • Outputs: Subject to these Terms and third-party model restrictions, you own scripts, audio, and video generated from your content for your use.
    • Our platform: The SlideNarrator software, branding, and underlying technology remain our property.

    5. Privacy, data handling, and DPA

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data and is incorporated into these Terms. Retention highlights:

    • Temporary / unsaved files: about 7 days
    • Saved project files: until you delete them
    • Generated audio: about 30 days (regenerable)
    • Generated video: about 15 days (regenerable)

We use third-party providers (including AI, hosting, storage, payments, and email) listed at /subprocessors. Business customers may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by emailing info@slidenarrator.com.

    6. Payment terms

    • Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew until cancelled, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
    • Credit packs are generally final sale; unused credits do not expire unless we state otherwise at purchase.
    • Plans have usage limits. Exceeding limits may pause processing or require additional credits.
    • We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes typically apply to the next billing cycle.
    • Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable.

    7. Availability and AI limitations

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI-generated scripts, audio, and video may contain errors; you should review outputs before publishing. File formats and size limits are described in the product (for example PowerPoint .pptx limits).

    8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIDENARRATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

    9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and deactivate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, non-payment, abuse, or risk to the Service. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law. Data handling after termination follows our Privacy Policy.

    10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the jurisdiction in which SlideNarrator principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact info@slidenarrator.com so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

    11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

    12. Contact
